Thickness of pipe was key requirement

We were pleased to be able to help out George Leslie with their requirement for very thick pipe on behalf of Scottish Water. They needed 900mm E Joint pipe with thicknesses of 20mm and 25mm for deep underground sewage works at Festival Park in Glasgow. The pipe was several metres below ground and the extreme installation requirements were the reason for the thickness of the pipe. It was coated with 3 layer polyethylene and Denso wrapped.

In May George Leslie entered a team into the Caledonian Etape, cycling 130 km and climbing 1196m, to raise money for Marie Curie and East Renfrewshire Carers Centre. FT Pipeline Systems was pleased to sponsor their efforts.
