Steel Pipe for Contaminated Ground

Details: FT Pipeline Systems has supplied a number of contractors involved with the Stratford Park site in East London with coated and lined steel pipe and fittings for potable water application. The supply has included the diameter range 80mm to 1200mm and both spigot and socket pipes for welding and tyton push fit systems. Included in the supply are couplings, flange adapters, flange gasket sets as well as tees and bends. The pipe and fittings supplied all comply with the DWI regulations and critically are coated to allow them to be installed in brown field sites such as found on the East London site. The pipes are coated with three layer polyethylene and the field joints (both welded and tyton) are coated with Canusa Heat Shrink Sleeves to maintain the integrity across the joint.

In total six contractors have been supplied in this major development. FT has also supplied several other schemes across the UK at the same time proving that their project management and supply is second to none in the UK Water Pipe supply market.
