Project: Improvements to Oldham Sewage Treatment Works

Details: Between 2005 and 2010, United Utilities has been investing heavily in updating and improving its water infrastructure in the Oldham area.  As part of this modernisation programme, some of the Oldham sewer network is being replaced to prevent sewer flooding to customer properties.  Steel is the material of choice for this part of the scheme, with FT Pipeline Systems supplying a number of 1000mm and 1200mm diameter pipes.  FT Ductile has supplied a number of fittings to complement the pipes; VJ pipe couplings, flanges and flange adaptors.

A CAD design service was provided by FT for this scheme.
