Posted on Jun 26, 2025We’re excited to welcome Jonathan Phipps to FT Pipeline Systems as our new Project Manager. With a career spanning over 20 years in project management, logistics, and field operations, Jonathan brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results across complex, multi-site projects.
Jonathan joins us from Sharps Bedrooms Ltd., where he managed a large team of skilled joiners across the Midlands and North Wales. Overseeing more than 70 installations per week, he ensured projects were completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. His hands-on approach to problem-solving, customer service, and team leadership made him a key player in maintaining operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Prior to that, Jonathan held senior roles at Home Decor GB Ltd. and PSL Freight Ltd., where he honed his skills in national scheduling, compliance and logistics planning. His ability to streamline processes and support field teams has consistently improved efficiency and performance.
Jonathan’s leadership extends beyond the workplace. He has coached elite and junior hockey goalkeepers, volunteered extensively at his children’s school, and even represented England in international mixed hockey. His military training with the Liverpool University Officers Training Corps further reflects his discipline, resilience and commitment to teamwork.
At FT Pipeline Systems, Jonathan will be instrumental in managing key infrastructure projects, supporting our clients with precision, and ensuring every project runs smoothly from start to finish. His dedication to quality, safety and excellent customer service aligns perfectly with our values.

Whilst the pipeline industry is new to me, I have been project managing for many years and look forward to the challenge of a new and exciting industry.”
