FT Pipeline Systems has a wealth of experience in supplying water pipe for these types of projects. A recent example is the 250mm E Joint pipe, manufactured for the River Irwell crossing in the Manchester area.
Steel pipe was specified by the customer and we provided them with an ‘Asfit’ pipe system made up of 52 straight lengths, bends and Y pieces. The system included 1000 microns Versathane coating and 1000 microns 165 HB internal lining. A weld test piece was supplied.
The aim of the ‘asfit’ solution is to minimise fitting and fabrication costs on site. This is achieved by detailed provision of CAD drawings and layout drawings for the client and their designer to review and approve prior to manufacture.
