Nominated for Volunteer of the Year Award 2019
Posted on Mar 25, 2019Roger Attisha, our Director of Sales and Operations for the Water Treatment Division has been coaching young people’s rugby for over 10 years and is delighted to have been nominated for this award in the Volunteer Recognition Programme.
Roger used to play rugby himself at a very high level but had to retire aged 22 due to injury. When his children became interested in the sport he decided to become a coach and over the years has coached all three teams in which his children have played. Most notably Roger was the team coach for his son, Cameron, from when he began in the U8s right through to U18s. He has also coached girls’ rugby from U15 for each of his daughters.
The awards event takes place in April at Nottingham Rugby Club. Two finalists from this event will then be invited to a black tie awards evening at Twickenham Stadium in September. We wish Roger all the best!
