Olympic Park Diversions
Posted on Jan 28, 2015FT Pipeline Systems has been back to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to provide pipework for diversions which will help accommodate the legacy of the park. FTPS was involved in the original scheme supplying several kms of coated and lined steel pipe, including the 1200mm ring main, Finsbury Park replacement mains and a large amount of the mains around the venues, including the Canoe Park and the Aquatic Centre. The main consideration for the Olympic Park was the quality corrosion protection offered by the steel pipes in the aggressive ground in the regenerated site in East London.
