Chemical Dosing Dual Containment

Containment – “the action of keeping something harmful under control or within limits”

A dual-walled pipe is a secondary contained piping system. It is a pipe within a pipe, or encased in an outer covering, with a space between the two diameters. The inner pipe is the primary or carrier pipe and the outer pipe is called the secondary or containment pipe. The great majority of double-walled piping applications involve wastewater, groundwater and process safety.

Dual contained pipe systems are available in both rigid and flexible plastics:

Leak detection is available in both systems. WRAS approval.

We can also supply dosing pumps to work in conjunction with the dual containment hose. The pumps feature flow rates of up to 80 L/H and operating pressures of up to 20 bar. They are available with a wide range of functions and power supplies and can be configured to be compatible with a large number of chemicals.
