Project: Budds Farm, Havant

Details: This scheme involved a range of fittings to accompany the 1400mm square end pipes.  Joints were made by welding couplings in position in order to get the 1400 diameter pipes to match up.  Pipe was coated and lined in accordance with Southern Water’s requirements and was installed in under a week – due to the complexity of the works in the Treatment Works, FT was under precise delivery requirements which were met both in terms of their logistics and time scale.

The supply involved initial discussions on the design in order to fit the pipe work in amongst the existing pipes at the Treatment Works, discussions with welding contractor Asme Welding and the principal contractor 4Delivery, and finally the supply of the coated and lined pipes in the order in which the items were to be welded up.
