FT Ductile becomes a trading division of FT Pipeline Systems Ltd

FT Ductile Ltd was set up in 2008 as a sister company to FT Pipeline Systems Ltd.  As the name suggests, FT Ductile supplied ductile iron pipe whereas FT Pipeline Systems focused solely on steel pipe. The two companies have shared an office building, along with warehouse space and storage facilities and have always had closely aligned methods of business.

The year 2020 has brought its own set of challenges but has afforded many of us time to take stock of where we’re at and think about the best way to move forward. Over recent months as the pandemic took hold, we have all had to make changes to the way we work and adjust to the ‘new normal’.

One positive to come out of this year, however, is our decision to merge the two companies FT Pipeline Systems and FT Ductile.  FT Ductile will now become a trading division of FT Pipelines and allow us to make better use of our shared admin systems, allowing us to become more efficient.

We aim to make this change with the minimum of disruption and customers will be notified individually if there is anything they need to be specifically aware of. In the meantime, we look forward to continuing to supply the water industry with high quality, reliable products and thank you for your support.
