Cluster Spacers with Rollers Ease the Load

A new gas pipeline is being installed under a major river in the North of England. The project involves creating a tunnel through the river which will eventually house the new 42″ gas pipeline. The tunnelling machine is currently part-way through its year-long journey to cross the river.

FT Pipeline Systems has supplied a number of  multi-utility spacers with rollers for the project. These will be used to ease the new pipe into place. The spacers are virtually corrosion proof, require no special tools and are easy and efficient to install. They are available with polymer runners or rollers which facilitate a reduction in the size of equipment needed and time spent installing the pipe. This, in turn, leads to huge cost savings.
