Gas Control and Preheating Supplied to Canal Sugar Project in Egypt
Posted on May 20, 2021FT Pipeline Systems, along with partners Zennergy and Gascat, are proud to have supplied the Canal Sugar project in Egypt with its gas control and preheating. Canal Sugar is an integrated agro-industrial project incorporating reclamation and cultivation of 181,000 acres of land, making it Egypt’s largest agricultural project since 1952. This is in addition to building and operating the world’s biggest sugar beet processing plant aiming for an annual production of 900,000 tons of premium white sugar, with a total investment of 1 billion USD. Production is scheduled to start in 2021 with full capacity being reached by 2023.
Pictured above are the Gascat duty standby water baths, each producing 541KW, ordered, manufactured, dispatched and on site within 18 weeks. Pictured below is our gas train with our GASCAT control products, now fully installed.
